We chose a fine sunny autumn
day to visit the Yorkshire Sculpture Park at South Bretton near Wakefield and
spent a good four hours wandering the parkland and forest trails, stopping to
examine the impressive sculptures dotted about. Works by Barbara Hepworth, Henry
Moore, Ai Wei Wei, Antony Gormley and others complemented rather than competed
with the natural beauty of the setting to make for an excellent day out.
